Araf 137

137- AND WE LET THE PEOPLE WHO WERE OVERPOWERED INHERIT THE EAST AND WEST OF THE LAND WE BLESSED, AND YOUR LORD’S GOOD WORDS WERE COMPLETED FOR THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL BECAUSE OF THEIR PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE, AND WE DESTROYED WHAT PHARAOH AND HIS PEOPLE DID AND WHAT THEY BUILT.

The Children of Israel were saved from the prosecution of pharaoh; they were later given the Blessed land, which was a blessing and bounty, as well as a test to see what they would do when they had the upper hand.  Allah the Highest, fulfilled his promise to the Children of Israel and rewarded them for their patience and perseverance in the face of persecution and hardship.  Allah the Highest said: “AND WE DESIRE TO BESTOW OUR BOUNTY UPON THOSE WHO WERE OVERPOWERED IN THE EARTH AND MAKE THEM THE LEADERS AND LET THEM TAKE IT OVER”.  (S: 28 A: 5)

Patience and perseverance on the right path and in the way of Allah the Highest is always rewarded, and will always lead to success, even if after a while.  Any worthwhile targets need time and effort.   Also, while working on long term goals; one is likely to meet many obstacles and difficulties, which call upon the person’s patience and perseverance, to be able to overcome them and to carry on to the original goal.

Allah the Highest, destroyed pharaoh and his army and close circle.  Most of what is left of them is currently under the ground.

Allah the Highest, does not send his help to the believers quickly, unless it is a case of them being totally annihilated, as happened with Moses and crossing the sea, and what happened with the Muslims in Badr and in Al-Ahzab (when the medina was besieged) The faith, patience and perseverance of the believers, has to be tested, or why will they deserve their special status.  Allah the Highest said: OR DID YOU THINK THAT YOU WILL ENTER THE PARADISE WITHOUT THE LIKE OF WHAT CAME TO THOSE BEFORE YOU COMING TO YOU.  THEY ENCOUNTERED AFFLICTION AND ADVERSITY AND WERE SHAKEN, UNTIL THE MESSENGER AND THOSE WITH HIM SAID: “WHEN SHALL ALLAH’S HELP COME”, INDEED, ALLAH’S HELP IS NEAR”.  (S: 2 A: 214)

This is Allah’s policy on Earth, with all of His prophets, messengers and their followers of the believers.
