131- AND TO ALLAH BELONGS ALL THERE IS IN THE HEAVENS AND IN THE EARTH, AND WE HAVE INSTRUCTED THOSE WHO WERE GIVEN THE BOOK BEFORE YOU, AS WELL AS YOURSELVES, TO PROTECT YOURSELVES FROM THE DISPLEASURE OF ALLAH AND TO BE PIOUS, BUT IF YOU DISBELIEVE, INDEED ALLAH IS NOT IN NEED AND WORTHY OF THANKS.
132- AND TO ALLAH BELONGS ALL THERE IS IN THE HEAVENS AND EARTH, AND ALLAH IS SUFFICIENT TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEM.
133- IF HE WISHES HE WOULD MAKE YOU PERISH THEN CREATE OTHERS, FOR INDEED ALLAH IS ABLE TO DO THAT.
134- WHOEVER DESIRES THE REWARD OF THE LOWER LIFE, ALLAH HAS THE REWARD OF THIS LIFE AND THE HEREAFTER, AND ALLAH HEARS AND SEES ALL THINGS.
Allah the Highest is telling us in these Ayahs that the Heavens and Earth, that is all this Words with its different universes, as well as those in them, belong to Him. Therefore, whoever seeks something in the Heavens or Earth, should seek it from Allah, the only owner of them, who said about himself: “HE IS THE ONE WHO CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH IN SIX DAYS, THEN SATE ON THE THRONE. HE KNOWS WHAT GOES INTO THE EARTH AND WHAT COMES OUT OF IT, AND WHAT COMES DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND WHAT RISES INTO IT, AND HE IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE, AND ALLAH SEES ALL YOU DO”. (S: 57 A: 4)
Every thing in the Heavens and Earth will perish, before being resurrected, when only Allah the Highest will remain, as Allah the Highest said in Sorah Al-Rahman. “ALL THOSE ON IT WILL PERISH * AND ONLY REMAINS THE FACE OF YOUR LORD, FULL MAJESTY AND BLESSING * THEN WHICH OF YOUR LORD’S FAVOURS DO YOU DENY”. (S: 55 A: 26-28)
Before Resurrection for Judgement, all will perish, then resurrected.
There is nothing in the universe or any where at any time which does not belong to Allah and which Allah the Highest has full command and control of. Therefore, we should ask Allah the Highest only, although Allah the Highest provides through means, which we should seek. That is to say that Allah the Highest provides us with what we need, but we have to work to earn. Allah the Highest heals the sick, but we have to seek the doctor and medicine for they are the means.
Allah the Highest is without limit and what he has is infinite, therefore we should not shy of asking for any thing. Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said that Allah the Highest said: “Allah the Highest said: “O may slaves, you are all misguided, except those I guide, ask for my guidance and I will guide you. You are all poor except those I provide for, ask me and I will provide you. You are all sinful except those I forgive. Those of you who know that I forgive and ask for my forgiveness, I will forgive them and do not worry what they did.
If the first of you and the last of you, the living and the dead, the wet and dry, gather and each have the heart of the most righteous man of you, this will not increase my kingdom by as much as the wing of a mosquito.
If the first and last of you, the living and the dead of you, the wet and dry gathered, and each has the heart of the most wicked of my slaves, this will not decrease my kingdom by as much as the weight of a mosquito.
If the first and last of you, the living and the dead, the wet and dry, gathered in one place and each asked for whatever they desire, and I gave each one what they asked for, this would not decrease my kingdom by as much as a needle takes from the see when it put through it.
This is because I am Generous and full of Glory, I give by just a word and I punish by just a word. I say to the thing I want: “Be” and it will be”. (T: Qeyamah; 48 & Ma: Zohd; 30)
Indeed, we are the ones who need Allah the Highest in every thing and without Allah support we all perish. Allah the Highest said: “O PEOPLE, YOU ARE THE ONES WHO ARE IN NEED OF ALLAH, AND HE IS THE ONE FREE OF NEED AND MOST EXALTED * IF HE DESIRES, HE WILL MAKE YOU PERISH AND WILL BRING FORTH A NEW CREATION * AND THIS IS NOT TOO MUCH FOR ALLAH”. (S: 35 A: 15-17)
The entire world we know is but very miniscule to Allah. Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “If this world as much as the wind of a mosquito to Allah, He would not have given the disbeliever a drink of water”. (B: Tafseer Sorah 18, 6 & M: Sefat El-Monafqeen; 18 & T: Zohd; 13 & Ma: Zohd; 3)
Allah the Highest gives people what they ask for. If one desires the pleasures of this life alone, and does all it takes for it, they may have pleasures in this life only, but those who desire the reward of the Hereafter and do what it takes; they will be rewarded in the Hereafter. Allah the Highest said: “WHOEVER DESIRES THE REWARD OF THIS TRANSIENT LIFE, WE WILL GIVE HIM IN IT, WHAT WE WILL TO WHOM WE DESIRE, THEN WE WILL MAKE HIS SHARE THE HELL-FIRE, WHERE HE WILL BURN, DISGRACED AND REJECTED * AND WHO DESIRE THE HEREAFTER AND STRIVE FOR IT, AS IT SHOULD BE STRIVEN FOR, AND HE IS A BELIEVER, THEIR STRIVE WILL BE REWARDED * WE PROVIDE FOR THESE AND THESE FROM YOUR LORD’S BOUNTY, AND YOUR LORD’S BOUNTY IS UNLIMITED * SEE HOW SOME ARE PREFERRED TO THE OTHERS, AND INDEED, THE HEREAFTER IS A GREATER GRADE AND GREATER FAVOUR”. (S: 17 A: 18-21)
Striving for great success in this life often comes against doing things and succeeding in this life. Although we are told to strive for success and achievement in this life, yet whenever it comes in conflict with the way to the Hereafter, a believer should choose the Hereafter.
Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “Whoever desires the Hereafter, he leaves the pleasures of this life”. (T: Qiyamah; 24)
And also said: “He who loves this life, he will harm his Hereafter, and he who loves the Hereafter, he will harm his life on Earth”. (A: 4; 412)
