136- YOU WHO BELIEVE; BELIEVE IN ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER AND THE BOOK HE SENT DOWN UPON HIS MESSENGER AND THE BOOK(S) HE SENT DOWN BEFOREHAND, AS FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN ALLAH, HIS ANGELS, HIS BOOKS, HIS MESSENGER AND THE LAST DAY, HE HAS GONE FAR ASTRAY.
Allah the Highest reiterates the principles of Belief. They have been mentioned in many parts of the Quran. They are “BELIEVE IN ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER AND THE BOOK HE SENT DOWN UPON HIS MESSENGER AND THE BOOK(S) HE SENT DOWN BEFOREHAND”.
Allah the Highest sent Gabriel peace upon him to Mohamed prayer and peace upon him with the Quran carrying the principle of Belief. Allah the Highest also sent down Gabriel peace upon him in person to speak before the Muslims about the principles of Belief. Omar Ibn El-Khatab said: “While we were with Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him one day, a man came, his cloth were very white (clean) and his hair very dark (not dusty), does not look as he has been travelling, but no one of us knows him (not from Medina). He sat in front of the prophet prayer and peace upon him, resting his knees against the prophet’s knees, and he put his hands on his own thighs and said: “O Mohamed, tell me about Islam?” Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “Islam is to testify that there is no God other than Allah, steadfast in the Salah, give the Zakah, fast Ramadan and to go on pilgrimage to the house if you can”. He said: “You said the truth”. We were surprised of the man asking a question then telling him the answer is true.
Then he said: “Tell me about Eman (Faith, belief)?” Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon said: “To believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers, the last Day and fate whether good or bad”. He said: “You said the truth”. And they were surprised of the man asking a question then telling his the answer is true.
Then he said: “Tell me about Ihsan (perfection of faith and worship)”. He said prayer and peace upon him: “it is to worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you do not see Him, He sees you”. Then he said: “Tell me about the hour?” He prayer and peace upon him said: “He who is being asked does not know about it any more than he who asks”. He said: “Then tell me about its signs”. He prayer and peace upon him said: “To find the child of the woman or woman slave become her master, and to see the poor, bear footed people who are dependant on others, and just minding some sheep, become rich and rise and build the high rising buildings”. Then he went. After a while Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said to me: “Do you know who was asking?” I (Omar) said: “Allah and His messenger know best”. He prayer and peace upon him said: “This is Gabriel; he came to teach you you’re Religion”. (M: Eman; 1)
This is Allah’s Path, those who deviate from it in any way; they would have gone far astray of the Path to Allah. Going far astray of Allah Path, is losing the Way to Allah, and losing the Way to Allah is losing the Way to Paradise. Being not on the Path to Paradise, means going to the Hell-Fire, we ask Allah the Highest to protect us from.
